But the short version is I hardly put any time on my Z1 with it not even running hard or fast and broke a belt. I broke it in properly and was watching temps, but even a mild dune-ride would get it to 270. The same ride in my tuned XPT and not even see 140. I’ve ran super hard in Idaho for long, fast runs with noting but big V8 sand rails and my ’16 XPT and maybe saw 180 on the belt and never had a failure running with the cover off with the updated shims.

So, who dunes a Z1 RZR in Glamis hard, and how long does your belt last? Is this just a doomed combo I’ll never be able to make work? It would seem like going slow it shouldn’t be that hard on a belt, especially with the nice STMs and everything.
