After a hiatus from off road riding for 5 years due to a relocation, I am back in Arizona now and in the market for a XP 1000. I seem to be narrowing down on 2014 or 2015 models which seem to best align with my finances.

Twice now I have been warned that I should avoid 2014 XP 1000’s as they were plagued by some factory bugs that were resolved in the 2015 model year. Specifically, they point to some transmission bearing problems as well as other goblins.

Am I getting a “snow job” here or should I heed the warning?
