To the folks who has a RaceAir or Rugged M3 fresh air system, which system has the cleanest, no electrical odor, and healthier air system by design? For example, I think the Rugged has the least cleanest design because the air flows through the brushless motor and then to human body. RaceAir, the fresh air bypasses the motor. I can’t find any technical designs for either air system to confirm my thoughts.

Below is my understanding how air passes through the air systems, respectively.

RaceAir Air Flow = Outside Air > Filter > Fan > Hose Tube > Helmet > Human Nose > Lungs

Rugged M3 Air Flow = Outside Air > Filter > Fan >< Electric Motor <> Hose Tube > Helmet > Human Nose > Lungs

I am leaning towards a RaceAir fresh air system, because I might avoid smelling heated/electrical smell coming from the motor. Let me know if I am wrong in thinking of this. Thank you for your feedback.
