I went riding the other day (xp 1000) and got into a deep mud hole by accident. When changing the fluids I had some water in the transmission. So here’s the deal and i hope there are some good ideas coming my way. It seems that the sediment in the water settled to the bottom of the trans case. I have changed the trans fluid a couple times and it is clear (no water) but there is gunk on the inside bottom of the case. Looking for ideas on how to flush the inside out to remove the clay based sludge that is laying in there. I can’t afford to have the trans taken out, disassembled, and cleaned. I have heard of people using diesel to flush with before. Thanks in advance for the advise.
