Ive got a new 2017 900 S. Polaris says low can be used up to 40 Mph in the new models, I run mostly slower rocky bumpy terrain at about 15-25 mph , so I keep it in Low. Ill shift into high when on a logging road that opens up for a bit. Sometimes I’m pushing Low at 30-40 mph. My understanding is using low at lower speeds is much better on the belt and heat build up. But, High is more responsive when I want to goose it around corners. It also feels lighter on the foot. Id rather use high most of the time but fear that I shoudnt be. What speeds are you guys running low and high in?
