High belt temps at higher speeds fast than 50 mph in a XP 1000 might be caused by too much belt travel, cause the belt to blow and it is from heat.

Reduce belt temps by 30 degrees with a simple primary clutch spacer, read this new article of an issue I discovered while belt testing.

My opinion Polaris has too much belt travel and not by much but just enough to cause some of these problems. Read the article below on our site and it has some pics to back this up
