I have seen a few people mention grinding the rear passenger engine mount to fit larger tires.

I have a stock 2012 RZR 800 and bought some larger tires from a guy who said he ran them on a 2013 with the 1″ spacers he also sold me. I tried putting them on but it looked too close to take out for a ride, like 1/8″ clearance and if I hit a bump and compressed it would tear into the tire.

This is what I bought: Four RZR Tires, Rims, Lug nuts and wheel spacers. ITP 900 XCT Tires. Front: 27″ x 9″ x 12″. Rear: 27″ x 11″ x 12″. 1″ Wheel Spacers

It looks like I could grind off the corner of the mount to get more clearance. I have read stuff people posted about repositioning the mount but I do not have a welder.

Any thought on grinding versus NO DON”T DO IT?
