Hey all, not certain whether we will be keeping the 900 Trail long-term, so not wanting to put in a lot of $ on things like bigger wheels, new tires and new shocks & springs. But still wanting to add a little height and width (to maintain stability) for this riding season. The plan is to install a 2″ lift kit and wheel spacers – either 1″ all around, 2″ all around or perhaps 1″ front/2″ rear.

I am not wanting to drill new holes to install lift brackets nor compress the springs further to install spacers on the shocks. Is there a true bolt-on lift kit for this machine that just entails relocating the shock mounts that you all would recommend?

Regarding the spacers, which brand do you prefer? And should those be even all around or offset on the rear?

Thank for any tips.
