I found locally someone selling Bandit 46 Generation 1 shocks for $600. They look to be in great shape and have reportedly less than 300 miles on them. They were previously on a 2015 Trail. I talked to Bandit and they said that the older generations have smaller reservoirs, different compression adjusters and seal heads, and lighter springs.

Is it worth throwing an offer out at these or should I just wait to one day get new ones? What exactly will I will be “getting” if I do this upgrade on my 2017 Trail?
