I am ready to pull the trigger on some upgrades but am having trouble deciding what is the most appropriate for my needs. I keep flip flopping from bandit series 46 and Elka stage 5/Fox 2.0 RC2’s…..or the S conversion The Elka and Fox are fairly close on specs and not drastically different on price. The Bandits are less than half the price of the others, but only compression adjustable. I would like to smooth out some of the high speed bumps/whoops and retain as much ground clearance as possible. I am curious if the Fox/Elka shocks are really significantly better when you are considering the limited suspension travel of our machines, or do I just need to suck it up and do a whole new suspension to get a better ride and ground clearance at the same time.
