I have read all the other threads (I think) on this.

The one complaint I have on my new 2017 XP is that I inherited a bad front diff noise.

I have read that several 900 folks had great success putting washers (one on each side) on the rear of their diff to shim the back up slightly to get the drive line in better alignment. Unfortunately, they also used heavier oil. So – changed two variables at same time.

My question: Has anyone tried washers only on a 1000 to see if there was any difference? Or are these two completely different animals? Mine is quite loud…

Thanks!
