My rear bumper with spare tire carrier will be arriving this week and my original plan was get a new set of wheels/tires and keep one of the stock front wheels as a spare. The issue that came to mind is the new tires will be 32″ vs the stocker at 29″. Here’s my question; I know in a vehicle with open diffs this would not be much of an issue, but I don’t know what kind of diff is in the XP1K. If it’s locked, then having one axle spin a smaller tire while the diff is spinning the axles at the same rate, seems like it could lead to problems. Anyone have experience with this? Am I over thinking it?
