Recently had to remove the lower rear shock bolts on my 2014 XP4 to do work on the tranny. The bolts were wedged into place so badly, I had to use an air chisel to push the bolts through the mounting tabs/shock eyes.
It seems the reducer bushings were some how slightly bent/distorted enough that they will not slide onto the bolt.
I replaced those spacers with new and it is doing it again after one ride.
I am torquing the bolts to the 70 lb spec. This time, upon closer inspection, I see the spacers have actually cracked, pic below.
Any idea how or why this is happening?
