OK, so I lowered my stock XP per the instructions in this forum by taking out all preload on the front and rear. I then added preload to the front to get the front end very slightly higher than the rear. I’m noticing more “push” now when going around corners and I don’t know if it’s because I’m going faster now and the front can’t maintain grip with the added speed or whether I’ve done something to the weight distribution by lowering. Assuming the first is true I believe the fix would be wider tires on the front. But what I’m reading is that many people are leaving the fronts as is and putting the front width tire on the rear and claiming better handling. This doesn’t make sense to me because I would think you would lose rear traction with the narrower tire and do nothing for the push issue on the front. Thoughts/comments/suggestions?
