I’ve asked in some other places and haven’t gotten a definitive answer. I would think that this operation is totally out of the normal and the BOV isn’t acting as it should. Others said that theirs do the same thing, but that doesn’t make me feel any better about this seemingly being an issue.

Here’s the deal, the BOV is open at idle and any throttle position until you really get into the boost. This would mean that my BOV is open around 75% of the time. I can’t realistically ride around everywhere wide open. My ideal would have the valve closed for nearly every possible scenario besides letting off the gas. That’s how they have worked on all of my forced induction cars and how I understand they should work. I would think it was the spring, but that would cause it to open under boost too?

I don’t mud enough to be scared of a Vent-To-Atmosphere that works the way I think they should. However, if they are open like this all the time, I need to go a different route. Thanks in advanced to anyone that can help shed some light on this for me.
