heres my attempt to make a sticky for the XPT2 section since I already done the post for the RS1, XPT2 S which shares the same transmission. so here is the options for reductions. if there are corrections please PM me and Ill get them fixed
*THIS WAS BASED ON THE 2018 POLARIS PARTS DIAGRAM BREAKDOWN, 2019 IS NOT YET PUBLISHED.
*THIS IS BASED ON 18 XPT2, ALTHOUGH THE 17/18 XPT2 NON S SHARE SAME INTERNALS AS WELL AS THE XPT2 S

OPTION #1: A reverse shaft change of 12% across all 3 ranges- 570 gear set PN’s 3235380 27T and 3235381 46T

OPTION #2: 26% across all 3 ranges- 325 gear set PN’s 3235451 25T and 3235450 48T

OPTION #3: will reduce Low range 21%, Reverse and High have negligible change. this is simply changing the low set to a ranger set. of which would be a 3235232 67T and the 3236132 25T that are on the two piece input shafts that we have.

OPTION #4: 33% Low reduction, 12% Reverse reduction, 12% High reduction. Keep the stock shaft but swap to ranger low set 3235232 & 3236132, then add the 570 gear set 3235380 & 3235381

OPTION #5: 33% Low reduction, 12% Reverse reduction, 8% High reduction.- Start with an 18’ XPT4 input shaft PN 3235988, add the ranger low set 3235232 & 3236132, then add the 570 gear set 3235380 & 3235381. Now to clear up why the 4% difference in reverse and high, that is because the 18’ XPT4 input shaft has a 4% taller high gear and is still 2 piece so the low gear on it can be changed.

OPTION #6: 47% Low reduction, 26% Reverse reduction, 22% High reduction- Start with an 18’ XPT4 input shaft PN 3235988, add the ranger low set 3235232 & 3236132, then add the 325 gear set 3235451 & 3235450.

OPTION #7: 47% Low reduction, 26% Reverse reduction, 26% High reduction- keep the stock input shaft , add the ranger low set 3235232 & 3236132, then add the 325 gear set 3235451 & 3235450.
