Ok, so my trailer is down for repairs, for like one week… and as luck would have it, it is the week i found a rzr i think im going to buy. it is a rzr 800, 2011, with aftermarket rims and factory tires. I have an f150 with a 6.5′ bed. from what ive seen they will fit, but the tires will definitely be completely on the tailgate.

it is about a 2 hour drive. i dont know if ill have time to get 10′ 2x6s to put down to span the weight onto the bed. will i be ok with putting some rachet straps from the tailgate “pins” up to the bed pockets, and ratcheting them down a bit to take some of the weight off of the stock cables?

also, i hear i should back it in as the back end is heavier? what kind of wheel chock should i use to keep from hitting the rear window?

i usually tie down to the a arms to let the machine suspension do the work. not sure if this will be possible on a rzr in the bed. i have lots of ratchets, so i should be able to make something happen.

on the plus side, it will save me some toll money. the toll roads ill be on charge per axle. :big-grin
